Test Description
The BRIEF-A is a standardized measure that captures views of an adult’s executive functions or self-regulation in his or her everyday environment. Both a self-report and an informant report are used.Two broad indexes (Behavioral Regulation and Metacognition), an overall summary score, and three validity scales (Negativity, Inconsistency, and Infrequency) are included.BRIEF-A Self-Report and Informant forms have been translated into U.S. Spanish. This product uses English norms only.The BRIEF-A SP is used to score and generate interpretive reports for the BRIEF-A Self-Report and Informant Report. After hand-entry of an individual’s item or scale raw scores, the software program generates normative scores and Interpretive Reports, Feedback Reports, and Protocol Summary Reports.
