Test Description
Designed to assess the use of coping strategies that are typically targeted for change in multidisciplinary pain treatment programs, the CPCI can be used as a treatment outcome measure, as a screening measure, and to document the necessity of treatment.A unique program, the CPCI/SOPA-SP provides scores and reports for both the CPCI and the Survey of Pain Attitudes™ (SOPA™) after hand-entry of demographic information and CPCI or SOPA item responses or scale raw scores. The program generates a score report and a longitudinal report for each measure, comparison of which can help you determine the relationship between your patient’s pain-related beliefs and his or her pain coping strategies.
