MIT: Melodic Intonation Therapy Kit

The MIT DVD includes a rationale for MIT and criteria for selecting candidates. It also shows five stimulus items being presented to an aphasic client at each of the three levels, with scoring of responses. The manual includes a review of the scientific background for MIT and of four cases (two good candidates and two poor candidates) treated with MIT, with discussion of their lesion characteristics and pre- and post-treatment language findings.
