Test Description
Now available! Most students have been away from the classroom for more than 6 months, and, in that time, the world has changed. Students and their families have had to adapt to working and learning from home; quarantining from friends and family; and fearing for the health and safety of themselves and their loved ones. When they return to school, students may exhibit symptoms such as anxiety, stress, and fear. Finding out if students are struggling is the first step in helping school professionals get back to doing what they do best—helping children. The PASS-12, a 12-item checklist developed by FAR, FAM, and FAW author Steven Feifer, DEd, allows you to assess the impact of a pandemic on school-based functioning, specifically for children who are attending or re-entering in-person school. This parent rating form provides information to help school professionals make important decisions.
